That is right. After months and months and months of frustration, what we've been doing on InDesign since September has become a reality. There were arguments, awkward silences, and all that jazz. But what matters the most is that all of us have put this year book together in one way or another, and it is a reflection of our compromises, cooperation, and teamwork.

I remember for the last two yearbooks people were not happy with them. I myself wasn't happy with them either. But people need to understand how much work, how much leadership, how much commitment, time, sacrifice, intiative, is put into making a YearBook. It must have been especially hard this year, because most of the sectional editors were in grade 12 and like for most of us, time was a crucial thing. So if it isn't what floats your boat, then join Year Book next year and contribute your ideas to it. Constructive criticism is always welcome. Anything else, people can go fuck themselves cuz honestly, after all the blood and sweat that I and the others put into making the best it cane be, I won't give two fucks whether Bob or Suzy will like it.

EDIT. I lied. I DO care... a bit. I admit some pages are just pathetic. Could've been done better. I admit there were a few slackers on the team. But that's inevitable right? Some people worked their asses off and some people just simply wanted the credit for being on the year book committee. And that really sucks cuz an even more excellent year book is possible if everyone worked. I just.. don't like the derogatory comments that people like to throw around that seem to generalize the entire year book committee. I don't like ignorance.

Alriiiiiiight. SAC E-LECTIONS!

Thought I'd make a post about who is running for what. This is all based on word of mouth. So if I make a mistake, do correct me. If I'm missing anything, do tell me.

This year, similar to last year, has cooked up a LARGE number of SAC hopefuls. We have approximately 28 candidates running for SAC.

This is gonna be interesting. Posters, this year, I must say, in general, S-U-C-K. People need to put more effort into the posters, because personally, I also base my decision on that when voting.

YES~ Haig music sweaters have recently been distributed! As you have/will see, the design is kick ass! So.. if you decide that you want a sweater now, it is NOT TOO LATE! E-mail Marissa at pipe_down_chichi@hotmail.com and tell her that you're interested. So far, there are about 4 people intersted. If we can gather up to 6, we can get them from the plant at a reasonable price. 35$ for no personalization and I think 40$ for personalization. Somewhere around there. I'll post a pic of it on here as soon as I can.

The Sweater!

Eg. of a personalized one...

I don't know if this is really news. But it's worth mentioning. Due to many complaints from parents, Calculus is being removed officially from the Ontario Curriculum. And removed from being an Ontario prequesite for University. From Calculus and Advanced Functions, it is now changed to just Advanced Functions. Apparently, there isn't gonna be much change, just a few sections taken out.

Couldn't they have thought of this earlier??!
